The Cosmic Comedy Collection
A new sci-fi comedy anthology traveling to you at the speed of laughter
Humor is not bound by time, space, or genre. Life is peppered with funny moments. Tiny points of light poking pinholes through even in the thickest shadows. A story without any moments of humor isn’t true to life. Characters feel like authentic people when they are allowed to laugh and crack jokes.
Many of my stories weave humor as a background thread into larger threads of drama and action. My narrative focus isn’t typically comedic.
Until now.
Today marks the official release day for The Cosmic Comedy Collection — an exciting new anthology of five comedic sci-fi stories from five science fiction authors. This anthology, compiled and edited by Phillip Carter, includes an original never-before-published short story from me.
My tale in The Cosmic Comedy Collection is called Slime Monsters! Picture a satirical blend of Alien and a zombie story that’s all about space algae. Yep. That’s my newest story in a nutshell.
You’ll also get a zany tale from Phillip Carter centered on alien invaders who only communicate with humanity through memes. Three other laugh-out-loud stories from AJ Pagan IV, Aaron Frale, and Robin Drown round out the anthology. This is sci-fi comedy traveling to you at the speed of laughter.
The Cosmic Comedy Collection eBook is available at retailers worldwide with a paperback edition soon to follow. Grab your copy to enjoy before the galaxy implodes on itself. Be warned: if you pass up the chance to read these zany tales, you’ll risk angering the universe. Do you really want the universe to trap you inside a realm where you’ll be forced to watch inane videos of influencers doing trending TikTok challenges on an endless eternal loop?
Of course, not. No one wants to suffer such an unkind fate.
