"Selling 10 copies of a self-published memoir about being raised by mountain goats didn’t make her an expert in storytelling."

Ahh, but selling 15 copies surely will! Thanks for this fun piece, John. Tbh, better than what's Disney's chucking at us these days. Wah-wah-wah.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the Marvel and Lucasfilm writing rooms!

All seriousness, this was hysterical. (Heh.) I'd be laughing riotously if I wasn't out in public at the moment. Very witty and humorous bit of commentary.

Just did a quick read-thru on your Snow White ninja story. Made me laugh. I come from a time where these ladies were way too vulnerable to consider Hero Work. They had to depend on the men for that.

I like this concept better. Not that I have anything against male heroes. Wish there were more of them.

Smiles!

"Mitch remembered he invented the Da Vinci Code or something like that," - Dan Brown would probably agree.

Clever story - I like to imagine the movie trailer for Mitch's second idea; like the World War Z trailer where all the zombies are piling against the 50-foot stone wall, except it's Grandma's house, and Dave Bautista plays The Big Bad Wolf.

Wait a minute! Peter Pan versus Romeo and Juliet who have come back as zombies. But all they love now is eating brains! Could work 🤔

This was a lot of fun, John. Really enjoyed it 👍🏼

Oh my goodness. Too real. Like the best satire, this is hitting the it’s-funny-because-it’s-true mark.
