I wanted a cover that fit thematically with the title, offered a simple clean design, and created an element of mystery to draw the eye.
Diving into a shared cosmos really freed up my creative energies. I feel like it gives events and characters in each story a broader meaning and impact beyond their own book.
Every story I write works well on its own as a standalone story. The Alien People Chronicles trilogy has a few plot threads that go through all three books but each book's main plot has a definitive resolution. I made a conscious decision to make sure each story feels complete, even while inhabiting a shared universe. I loathe stories that end on a cliffhanger designed to make you buy the next book in the series.
Excited to see the universe growing. Really glad it's in a shared cosmos.
I know I already said on twitter but I love this cover. It would stand out to me in a bookshop that's for sure
Thank you. :)

Sounds great! Best of luck with it :-)
Thank you. :-)
Very excited 😊
I'm excited to see what readers think once Hollow Planet is published. One of my beta readers said the ending shocked them. Didn't see it coming.
I want to read your other stories too. How much do they overlap? Or are they completely separate?
