I think it's always toughest for me right around Thanksgiving. The year she died from cancer, it happened just a few days before the holiday and so that holiday is forever connected with a dark time in my life.
That makes total sense. When my father passed away last year it was on a random day in March, but even though I try not think about the anniversary of his death, and prefer to think about his birthday, it is apparently seared into my mind now. Sending you good vibes 😄
