Not to mention, cats won't even wait until you're dead to start eating you if you like have a stroke or whatever.

I got to see some big cats up close at a tiger rescue not terribly long ago. They act 100% like housecats, and vice versa! Definitely drove that point home to me.

I read that cats share about 95% common DNA with tigers. So they truly perceive themselves as little tigers.

Completely agree. It's also kind of funny to think of cats as "domesticated." Yeah, right! We are the domesticated ones.

Cats are just waiting for us to realize that we are their slaves. My brother loved cats, I am more of a dog person but I have made friends with a few kitties over the years.

I like both cats and dogs, but I tend to gravitate towards cats more. Part of that is we had pet cats throughout my childhood. Lots of wonderful memories with those little felines.

We think we are the masters but that is not the case. Great poem. I’m also allergic but grew up with 3 at one point.
